Limited reissue of one of the milestones of the Japanese free rock scene.
Recorded in 1995, Otomo and his band unleashed an unprecedented and yet unmatched maelstrom of sounds, ranging from trad to noise.
Presented here as a double LP with a super heavy cover, and containing on side D the original 1984 Goebbels & Harth take on the Pekinese opera, that was extensively sampled in the 1995 Ground Zero rendition.
Sold at Otomo concerts in december of 2019 only in japan, without the obi and the inserts. Later released with obi and inserts internationally during the early months of 2020
Based on a re-sampling of Heiner Goebbels and Alfred Harth's sampled rendition of 1960's Revolutionary Pekinese Opera from China the Peking Oper (from the LP Frankfurt/Peking, CD Goebbels Heart) from 1984.
Ver. 1.28 is a updated edition of the original version released from Trigram in 1995.
Re-mix and re-mastered at Sank-oh-so Studio and Kojima Recordings, Tokyo Jan. 1996.
Recorded and mixed at GOK Sound, Tokyo, March 1995.
Mastered at Foothill Digital, NYC, 4th April 1995.
