Irdorath presents the mythological project Bestiarium
Belarusian pagan folk band Irdorath returns with a grand audio-literary-artistic premiere: the new album and book Bestiarium - the band's first major work since political imprisonment, forced exile, and the resumption of creative activity on a new place.
The music album is the center of the project.
The album Bestiarium is inspired by the imagery of the native Belarusian mythology. It is dedicated to the search for humanity in non-human creatures, which emerge as complex characters with their own personalities and traits.
Book component / book accompaniment
The bilingual book (in Belarusian and English) is a full-fledged artistic component of the project. It includes song lyrics, illustrations, legends, cultural context, and the band's authorial commentary, helping listeners and readers experience the characters as heroes of tragic, ironic, and philosophically dark fairy tales. Thanks to this approach, even those who do not speak the language can immerse themselves in the world of Belarusian mythology and culture.

Release history A significant portion of the musical and visual material was created during the authors' political imprisonment, and, undoubtedly, this experience was reflected in the album. Completed in exile and with a renewed lineup, Bestiarium has acquired a new, rich, and powerful sound.
The release was created over more than five years and absorbed all the experience the authors had lived through. Thus, it was shaped into a full-fledged audio-visual-literary work aimed at popularizing Belarusian culture, including outside the country.
Project format
The physical edition of the book will be released together with a music disc. The album will also be available separately in a classic digipak format with a booklet.
Presentation tour
In support of the release, Irdorath will hold a series of concerts where the entire material from the new album will be performed. The revamped lineup and new visual show will immerse audiences in the world of Belarusian mythology, which, even without knowledge of the language or cultural context, will become a powerful immersive audio-visual event.
The Bestiarium concert presentations will take place in Warsaw, Poznań, Kraków, and Berlin. At these shows, the band will be supported by the Polish folk duo Furda. Events will also be held in Prague and Brno, where Irdorath will be the special guest of the Czech band Deloraine.
