For almost three years it was quiet around Funker Vogt's self-proclaimed mercenaries. After Chris L. left in the summer of 2021, there was a one-year break before Gerrit Thomas and René Dornbusch were able to recruit the singer and shouter Bastian Polak to the full trio. Many people will already know the new guy on the mic from the duo Intent:Outtake. Since composer and producer Gerrit Thomas has already recorded vocals and mixed & Master's degree and therefore we already got to know and appreciate each other, it certainly wasn't a big surprise for some fans that Bastian Polak was hired for Funker Vogt.

The sound on Final Construct should bring plenty of epic, as the band concentrated heavily on songwriting and focused more than ever on the anthemic character. Almost every one of the 19 newly composed tracks has the so-called single character.

On all the songs on this album and its bonus tracks, Mr. Polak consistently proves that he is the right person for Funker Vogt and leaves nothing to be desired, in terms of flexibility in vocal pitch, aggressiveness and melody. So they weren't afraid of the very epic piece Im Augen des Orkans in ¾ time, which was arranged as the outro of the double album and can probably be perceived as the only real breakout. All other songs feature the typical, aggressive, but always melodic industrial dance beat that we have come to know and love from the radio musicians.
