Thus, Luxembourg's most hated are back with a fifth album and they really let loose on this one! 13 street punk grenades to blast your weekends wide open with their powerful, trademark Oi! sound.
If you like to pogo and tear down walls on a house destruction party, this album delivers in spades!
From the opening ’Paedo’, to the dance floor wreckers ‘Skins in the Pit’, ‘Soho Boho’ and ‘Cross and Flag’, they got one smasher after the other in store for you. At the same time, the boys show their appreciation for the odd melody or two, so you will find plenty of singalong tunes here with ‘Hammer and Wrench’, ‘Your Boys’ and ‘Roots ’n' Boots’.
Another obvious SKINFLICKS' trademark is the tongue-in-cheek sarcasm of the lyrics. Generously seasoned with caustic cynicism, songs like ‘We're Only in it for the Money’, ‘F*** You and Yer Politics’ and ‘Boomers and Groomers’, will irk their detractors and make sure they remain livid for the time being.
But go see if they care, since the band happily spew their bile on what might be their most concerted effort to date.
So, join the chorus of disapproval or the sing-along choir; the SKINFLICKS' will continue either way, since condemnation awaits - inevitably!
